Scope of terms
These terms provide information about our obligations and your rights under Australian law when engaging Dovirexa for finishing works (plastering, painting, drywall finishing, tiling, carpentry). They are not a substitute for a written contract for large projects; detailed scope, schedule and materials will be agreed in project documents.
Australian Consumer Law (ACL)
Under the Australian Consumer Law, certain guarantees (including that services will be supplied with due care and skill and are reasonably fit for purpose) cannot be excluded. Nothing on this page is intended to limit rights or remedies you have under the ACL.
If you believe goods or services supplied by Dovirexa are not of acceptable quality or do not meet consumer guarantees, please refer to the Complaints section below or contact us via Contacts.
Warranties, defects and limitations
Warranty: Dovirexa provides workmanship warranties in line with project contracts. Warranties vary by scope and material; any manufacturer warranties for products used will be passed on where applicable.
Defects: Defects must be reported in writing within a reasonable time. For residential minor works a typical defect rectification period is 12 months unless otherwise agreed.
Limitations: We are not liable for pre-existing structural issues, moisture damage arising from unrelated building defects, or consequences from client-supplied materials unless otherwise agreed.

Insurance, licensing & compliance
Dovirexa holds necessary insurances appropriate to operations. Copies of insurance certificates and licence evidence are available on request prior to contract commencement. Where specialist works require licensed trades (electricians, plumbers, structural remedial contractors), those works will be subcontracted to appropriately licensed providers.

Complaints & dispute resolution
We aim to resolve issues promptly. If you have a complaint, please:
- Contact the site manager or project coordinator to describe the issue.
- If unresolved, email our office at Dovirexa@outlook.com with "Complaint" in the subject.
- If still unresolved, parties agree to attempt mediation before commencing litigation, except where urgent court relief is required.
